Paul Arns – LLB

Director

Paul is the Principal Director of the firm. He obtained his law degree at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and migrated to Perth in 1985. He was a partner in a Perth legal practice before commencing the firm of Arns & Associates in 1993.
Paul has extensive experience in the areas of commercial litigation and deceased estates.
He has and continues to represent clients in all courts and tribunals in WA, in particular resolving complex inheritance matters.
Paul currently serves as the President of the Ocean Yacht Racing Association of WA.

Andrew Houghton – LLB

Director

Andrew graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2002 and after undertaking Articles training with Arns & Associates, was admitted to practice in February 2004. He then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Insolvency (USQ) in 2005. Andrew has a wide range of experience in commercial litigation, including dealing with business, contractual, leasing and consumer disputes. He also represents clients in insolvency and debt recovery matters, professional negligence and inheritance disputes in all state and federal courts. Andrew became a Director of the firm in July 2018 and is currently serving on the Board of the Motor Trade Association of WA.

Ray Christensen LLB BCom

Special Counsel

Ray obtained his Law and Commerce degrees from Murdoch University in 2011 and was admitted to practice in 2012. He has since worked for both large and small law firms in Perth and most recently, the State Solicitor’s Office. Ray joined the team at Arns & Associates in August 2019. He represents clients in commercial litigation matters in all Western Australian and Federal Courts. He has a particular interest in contract and property disputes, construction law and insolvency. Ray is also a Board member of the educational charity Achievers Club WA Inc.

Jasmin Harper - LLB

Lawyer

Jasmin graduated with a Bachelor of Law from Central Queensland University in 2022 and was admitted to practice in November of the same year.
She has worked for both large and small law firms in Perth and joined the team at Arns & Associates in May 2024. Jasmin represents clients in all jurisdictions and in a wide variety of matters including commercial litigation, consumer and leasing disputes and debt recovery.

Aiden Ross - LLB

Law Graduate

Aiden graduated from Murdoch University (WA) with a Bachelor of Laws in 2022. He is about to complete his College of Laws Practical Legal Training programme, following which he will be admitted to practice in Western Australia. Aiden joined Arns & Associates in January 2024 and currently assists the senior lawyers with a range of commercial litigation matters.

Elizabeth Bradley – BA (Hons) LLM (Ireland)

Legal Executive

Elizabeth joined Arns & Associates in 2012 after migrating from Ireland. She graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Business and Legal Studies. In 2009, Elizabeth completed postgraduate studies in Criminal Justice and Human Rights and graduated with a Masters of Law from Queens University Belfast. Elizabeth works closely with the Senior Associates managing litigation files, primarily in the area of debt recovery. She also supervises administration support staff and provides assistance with the preparation and lodgement of court documents.
